Today’s forecast calls for showers throughout the day leading into a sunny weekend.
On Friday, Georgians can expect showers and thunderstorms sometime before 3 p.m. that will continue into the evening. The chance of rain is 80% and you can expect up to a quarter-inch of rain.
According to the National Weather Service, the rain should clear out by about 11 p.m.
Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 79 degrees and winds between 10 and 15 mph.
On Sunday, temperatures will reach 81 degrees.
