MACON — The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in on Cedar Avenue near Bowden Homes at 9:06 p.m. Friday.
Deputies responded to the 2300 block of Houston Avenue regarding a person shot.
According to the sheriff’s office, a 30-year-old man was walking on Cedar Avenue near Bowden Homes when a light colored car drove by. The man heard several shots fired and he was struck in the foot.
The victim was taken the Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured during the incident. There is no further information on the suspect.
