Two people are dead and two more injured after a fight broke out on a sidewalk in Macon early Saturday morning. The fight reportedly occurred at the corner of Cherry Street and MLK Boulevard around 12:41 a.m. According to the Macon-Bibb County Sheriff's Office, there was a large fight on the sidewalk that included gunshots. As deputies and emergency medical personnel arrived on the scene, 20-year-old Donovan Munir Cason, of Macon, was found unresponsive. Cason was pronounced dead at the scene. 65-year-old woman struck and killed by vehicle in Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pedestrian traffic incident that occurred in 2000 block of Old Clinton Road, just before 9:30 p.m. A passerby saw a woman laying in the roadway unresponsive and called police. When deputies arrived, they found 65-year-old Irene Stubbs of Macon had been struck by a vehicle. Stubbs was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office personnel. The vehicle that struck Stubbs left the scene before deputies arrived. No witnesses have come forward at this time, and there is no information on the vehicle involved in the incident. A 36-year-old Georgia man is in critical condition after a crash involving his go-kart and two cars on Log Cabin Drive just after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning;. According to witness statements, the man was driving a go-kart and was traveling on Log Cabin Drive, in the right lane. 55-year-old Macon man killed Saturday morning

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a gomicide incident that occurred at the corner of Columbus Road and Helon Street at around 1:21 a.m. Saturday According to the Bibb County Sheriff's office, 55-year-old Timothy Keith Williams was found with a gunshot wound to what sheriff's officials call "the lower extremity," but no further details were given. MACON -- A 16-year-old was shot and killed last night in Bibb County while walking in the parking lot of an apartment complex at about 7 p.m. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 16-year-old Amerie Searcy, of Macon, was walking in the parking lot of Majestic Garden Apartments when an unknown subject began shooting. Second arrest made in fatal shooting at Thirsty Turtle in Macon

MACON -- Law enforcement officials in Macon say they have made a second arrest in the late November shooting outside the Thirsty Turtle on Cherry Street. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators and members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force served arrest warrants on 22-year-old Damion Jarrod Tuff, in connection to the homicide and aggravated assault incident that occurred Nov. 27. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault incident that was reported to have occurred at the intersection of Houston Avenue and Heard Avenue at Tuesday. Deputies responded to the intersection regarding a person shot. Upon arrival deputies found 35-year-old Terrance Deshun Chapman with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
