MACON — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 24-year-old woman, Michaela Joy Rhodenhiser, in connection with an aggravated battery that took place in the 1200 block of Patterson Street in Macon.
The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at about 6:18 a.m. Wednesday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, an altercation between two intoxicated individuals outside of a residence on Patterson Street got physical between a man and a woman. The altercation ended with the man being pushed down and hitting his head on the ground.
After the incident, the man was assisted into the home but soon started complaining of pain and became unresponsive.
He was taken to the hospital by ambulance and is currently listed to be in critical condition.
The Bibb Sheriff’s Investigators interviewed all the residents of the home and identified Rhodenhiser as the woman involved in the altercation.
After her interview, she was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for the charge of aggravated battery.
Currently, she does not have a bond.
