A 42-year-old Smyrna man was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday night.
According to investigators, a dark gray 2003 Honda CBR motorcycle, driven by 42-year-old Harry A. Edwards of Smyrna, was headed westbound on Terrell Mill Road approaching I-75 Express Lanes North.
A white 2020 Honda CR-V was headed eastbound on Terrell Mill Road in the left turn lane for I-75 Express Lanes North.
“The CR-V turned left at the intersection and the motorcycle crashed into the right side of the vehicle. Mr. Edwards was ejected from the motorcycle into the roadway,” said Cobb County Police Department spokesman Wayne Delk.
Edwards was transported by ambulance to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The passenger of the CRV had a complaint of injuries but refused treatment at the scene. The driver of the CR-V had no injuries.
