Cobb County police are investigating after someone found a body near a pond in the Powder Springs Road area earlier this week.
What we know: Officers responded about 4:23 p.m. Monday to the Pine Grove Drive area, off Powder Springs Road SW. Detectives are working to determine how the person died.
What’s not confirmed: Police have not released the person’s name, age, or gender. They have not said what caused the death or whether foul play is suspected.
