HAZLEHURST — Residents of Hazlehurst will be voting on whether or not to allow sales distilled spirits within the city limits.
The alcohol sales referendum is the only item on the ballot for the Nov. 2 election, which asks residents whether or not package sales of distilled spirits like scotch, bourbon, rum, and vodka will be allowed in the city limits.
Early voting is already under way and residents who wish to wait until election day will be able to vote on Nov. 2 from 7 a.m to 7 p.m.
