The City of South Fulton is bringing back one of its most beloved celebrations. The 7th Annual YEEK Fest returns Saturday, October 18, from noon to 8 p.m. at Welcome All Park. The event is free and open to everyone.

What’s Happening: This year’s YEEK Fest will honor Historically Black Colleges and Universities with homecoming-style traditions and feature members of the Divine Nine. The celebration kicks off with the YEEK Fest Parade at 11 a.m.

  • Location: Welcome All Park, 4255 Will Lee Road, South Fulton, GA
  • Hosts: Councilwomen Helen Z. Willis (District 3) and Carmalitha Gumbs (District 2)

Catch Up Quick: YEEK Fest celebrates the YEEK dance movement, which began in the South Fulton area in the early 1990s and has grown into a global cultural expression.

The Ripple Effect: Organizers say the festival brings families, alumni, and local businesses together, offering music, food, and community pride rooted in local history.
