One lane on the I-16 Westbound bridge deck in Bibb County will be closed for repairs, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The lane closure is near Exit 2. The outside lane is closed and will remain until repairs are complete. Repairs are expected to be done by Friday afternoon.
The nearest westbound overhead message board is activated, advising drivers of the lane closure.
GDOT is advising motorists to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
