A man is dead after a shooting at Blackburn Park in Brookhaven late Saturday afternoon, according to police.
Authorities responded to the scene around 5:30 p.m., where they found the victim suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. First responders attempted to save his life, but he was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
