  • Shoppers at Lenox Mall were startled by gunshots Saturday Evening. As it turns out, the shots were accidental and were the result of a man with a gun adjusting his pants and accidentally firing the gun. The man ran and has not been found.
  • Police are searching for a man who has been missing since October.
  • A homeless man in Savannah was shot and killed by police.
  • Reminder: The pandemic isn’t over just because you’re over it. In fact, it is picking up steam rapidly.

Weather:

Temperatures will get all the way up to about 50 degrees today. There is a slight chance of rain. Temperatures will be above freezing in the overnight hours.

Coronavirus Update:

5,167 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Georgia yesterday, 48 people died and 218 people were hospitalized. It is looking more and more like Georgia will be having A Very COVID Christmas.

And in case you missed it the first 30 times the last couple of weeks, the president doesn’t have warm feelings toward Brian Kemp right now.
  • Speaking of Brian Kemp, the governor told Trump in a phone call yesterday that state law prohibits him from interfering in an election.
