The Atlanta Falcons have confirmed that they have reached a 100% vaccination rate among players. This makes the Falcons the first team in the NFL to have a fully-vaccinated roster.
Team officials say this means players will not have to have daily COVID tests or wear masks. Players can also eat together and train together again.
Georgia is currently averaging 4,714 new coronavirus cases per day. This is where the state was for virus infections in December of 2020.
HOW TO GET VACCINATED: COVID-19 has killed more than 30,000 Georgia residents. Don’t let yourself or your loved ones die from a preventable virus. COVID vaccines are free and widely available statewide without insurance or identification. To find a vaccination location or to schedule an appointment, visit https://dph.georgia.gov/covid-vaccine.
