Gregory C. Jackson has been appointed as the new principal of Coleman Middle School. The Gwinnett County Board of Education approved his appointment Thursday.
Jackson has built his career within Gwinnett County Public Schools, serving in leadership and teaching roles since 2006.
Why It Matters: Jackson brings nearly two decades of experience in Gwinnett County schools. He began his career in 2006 as a social studies teacher at Meadowcreek High School and later taught at GIVE Center West and Central Gwinnett High School.
His Background: Jackson earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in social studies education from Georgia State University. He also holds a specialist degree in educational leadership from the University of West Georgia.
