The Georgia Bureau of Investigation wants your help solving a 40-year-old murder case in McIntosh County.

What Happened: Melissa Ann Ford was 20 years old when she disappeared after leaving Club Majesto in Crescent on August 10, 1985. Her body was found two months later off Church Road near I-95 in McIntosh County. Police ruled her death a homicide. No one has ever been charged.

Why Now: The GBI renews calls for information in cold cases hoping that time may have loosened tongues or jogged memories. Someone who was afraid to speak 40 years ago might be willing to talk now.
