What’s Happening: The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit opened a drug probe in August into what it calls a drug trafficking organization run by Ronnie Bradford in Augusta-Richmond County. On Sept. 18 at about 10:37 p.m., the Gang Unit, with help from the Narcotics Division, Crime Suppression Team, K-9 Unit and the Georgia Attorney General’s Office Gang Prosecution Unit, served a search warrant at 2611 Brookshire Road. During the search, investigators found about 306.72 grams of marijuana, about 27 oxycodone pills, nine firearms and multiple firearm accessories, according to the sheriff’s office.

  • Leory Jenkins Jr.: possession of marijuana with intent, possession of oxycodone with intent, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
