• Jeter, a resident of Scottsdale, was reported missing on November 8 by his family after failing to report to work at the Naval base in Jacksonville.
• A fisherman discovered his body at a boat landing along the Ocmulgee River. The Telfair County Sheriff’s Office requested Georgia Bureau of Investigation involvement.
• Jeter was last seen at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport on November 7, renting a silver 2024 Jeep Compass with Florida license plate EWAG47. The vehicle remains missing.
• An autopsy conducted at the GBI Coastal Crime Lab revealed no apparent injuries, but further forensic tests are pending.
