Gwinnett Police are investigating the death of a pregnant 16-year-old girl, Mia Campos, whose body was discovered in a wooded area in Loganville on July 15.
🚔 The Details: Around 1 a.m. on July 15, officers responded to the 3600 block of Stephens Road following a 911 call from Campos’ family. They reported finding her body using a cell phone tracking application after she failed to return home the previous night. Campos had last been seen leaving with an unknown individual.
On July 17, investigators arrested, Jesus Monroy, the ex-boyfriend of Campos for giving false statements to a police officer.
