“We’re trying to raise money for funeral arrangements I just buried my daughter a few weeks ago so we’re needing as much help as possible and this came as a shock to us all when my granddaughter which was only 9 was tragically murdered today. I ask if you can help in anyway possible please help out. We don’t care if you give a dollar every penny counts. Thank you and God Bless You All.”
The investigation into Alazia’s death is active and ongoing, so details that have been released to the public are sparse. In a post on its Facebook page the Tifton Police Department urged members of the community to be patient and to pray for Alazia’s family.
“We understand everyone’s concern and need for answers as to what has happened to a loved member of our community,” Police officials said. “At this time, we are not able to release details of the investigation. We ask that everyone be patient as we pull together the evidence and information needed to bring the person or persons responsible for this crime to justice. We ask that you keep the family and friends in prayer.”
