The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a 9-year-old who was found stabbed to death Tuesday.
According to the GBI, at about 7:20 a.m., Tifton Police Officers responded to the Peterson Apartments where the body of 9-year-old Alazia Johnson was found.
Agents and investigators are actively investigating this incident as a homicide. Alazia’s body was taken to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office in Decatur where autopsy results are pending.
