First responders get a free lunch in Marietta Oct. 16

MARIETTA -- There is such thing as a free lunch if you are a local police officer, firefighter, EMT or member of the military.

MARIETTA — There is such thing as a free lunch if you are a local police officer, firefighter, EMT or member of the military.

On Friday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Janice Overbeck Real Estate Team will host an appreciation barbecue lunch to honor local police, firemen, EMT’s and military.

The Capital City Home Loans grilling food truck will serve up burgers and hotdogs with a variety of sides sponsored by other local partners. Attendees are welcome to use the “social distancing patio” to enjoy their meal or take it on the road. 

Additional sponsors for the event are Arrow Exterminators, First American Home Warranty, Amerispec Home Inspection, Chick-fil-A East Lake and Perrie & Associates.
