Graycie Millard, who had been reported missing from Lafayette in late July, has been safely located in Arizona, according to the LaFayette Police Department.
A joint effort between the local police, FBI Atlanta, and agents stationed in Dalton, culminated in the teen’s discovery.
Acting on a credible tip received on Thursday, FBI agents in Arizona were able to pinpoint and secure Graycie’s location by late Friday night.
Authorities have expressed deep appreciation to the community. “We would like to thank our partners in the community for all their concern and help to bring this situation to a successful conclusion,” a statement from the FBI read.
