Hall County Landfill Closure: What You Need to Know

🗑️ The Gist: The Hall County Landfill will be closed on Saturday, June 1, due to essential maintenance work on the CSX railroad crossing at Oakbrook Drive. Additionally, the Gould Lane Compactor Site will be closed for resurfacing on May 30 and June 10-11.

🤔 Why It Matters: Residents who regularly use the Hall County Landfill or the Gould Lane Compactor Site will need to plan accordingly and use alternative disposal options during the closure periods.

Alternative Options:

  • All other Hall County compactor sites will remain open for normal operation during the landfill closure.
  • Residents can visit any of the 12 compactor sites located throughout the county for their disposal needs.
