A light snow is still expected to fall in Georgia on Monday, but it won’t happen early.
Light to moderate rain was moving through north and central Georgia Sunday night and will continue through the overnight hours.
Starting Monday afternoon, rain will mix with and change to snow showers across far north Georgia, continuing into the night.
Most accumulating snow will be at elevations above 2000 feet. Snow accumulations will generally remain below one inch, though locally higher amounts will be possible in higher elevations.
Snowfall is expected to last through Tuesday morning and will fall along a line from Canton to Dawsonville to Helen.
