What’s Happening: Forecasters predict a gradual warming trend. Today’s high will approach 50 degrees before dipping into the low 40s by afternoon. However, you may not feel that warm up. Strong northwest winds, gusting up to 30 mph, will accompany the rise.

Clear skies tonight will bring lows around 23 degrees, with gusts up to 20 mph. Friday will see sunshine with a high near 41 and less intense winds. Nighttime temperatures will hover around 26 degrees under mostly clear skies.

Looking Ahead: Saturday promises more sun with highs near 52 and a low around 33. Widespread frost is likely Saturday night and Sunday morning before clouds return. Sunday’s high will climb to near 58 degrees, but rain may arrive by evening with a 50% chance of showers.

While daytime conditions are set to improve, residents should prepare for continued frosty mornings and rain late in the weekend.
