Tropical Storm Fred is already making itself known in metro Atlanta and the delays from the storm have started.
The DeKalb County Sanitation Division may experience garbage collection delays for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday customers.
Sanitation crews will work through Saturday, if necessary, to ensure all households are serviced. County officials are encouraging residents to keep their garbage, recycling and yard trimmings at the curb until servicing occurs.
For more information on services offered by the Sanitation Division, contact the Customer Care team at 404-294-2900 or sanitation@dekalbcountyga.gov, visit www.dekalbsanitation.com, or follow the Sanitation Division on Twitter @DKalbSanitation.
