The weekend splits in two: clear skies today, scattered rain tomorrow for parts of Georgia.
☀️ Why It Matters: Outdoor plans hinge on timing and location. Northern Georgia stays dry through Sunday, but anyone south of Interstate 20 should expect afternoon thunderstorms.
🌤️ Today’s Weather: Dry conditions and mild temperatures continue across the state. Highs reach the upper 70s to low 80s, with lows settling between 55 and 65 degrees overnight.
⛈️ What Changes Sunday: Moisture moves into Georgia, bringing isolated to scattered showers and storms mainly to areas south of Interstate 20 during the afternoon and evening. The northern half of the state will likely stay dry. Highs range from 77 to 83 degrees, with lows between 58 and 69 degrees.
🗺️ The Dividing Line: I-20 is the weather line this weekend, as it often is. Communities south of that corridor face higher chances of rain Sunday. Those north of it can expect another dry day.
