After more than 24 hours, power has been fully restored to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.

The outage began Sunday evening as a result of a water leak at the facility. The outage lasted until just after 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Vendors were on site throughout the day Monday working to resolve the issue and jail staff was following emergency procedures, including utilizing additional personnel from other divisions to ensure the safety of detainees.
