Halloween falling on a Sunday has left many parents wondering which day they should observe Halloween. While this is often a decision left to individual neighborhoods, some cities and counties have weighed in with their recommendations.
In Harris County, officials released a statement today encouraging parents to take their kids trick-or-treating on Saturday, October 30.
County officials cite safety as the reason behind the recommendation and are also encouraging parents to have the trick-or-treating finished before dark.
