The Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section is offering free Defensive Driving Classes during the month of July for teenagers.
The defensive driving class is designed to help teenagers make good, sound decisions on what to do while driving, how to avoid detractions, and how to reduce the number of injuries and crashes that are associated with teen drivers.
To be eligible to attend you must be 15 to 20 years old. A copy of the students valid Georgia Driver’s License is required — not a learner’s permit. The class dates are July 11 through July 13; July 18 through July 20, and July 25 through July 27. Class times are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be two days of classroom instruction that will be held at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section Office, located at 774 Hazel Street.
