Georgia Governor Brian Kemp says hoarding gas is not necessary and has taken steps to combat rising gas prices due to shortage concerns. Note that there are concerns of a shortage, but no actual shortage of gas has been reported yet.

Kemp signed an executive order yesterday suspending Georgia’s gas tax, which will bring prices down at the pump. State officials estimate this move could reduce gas prices by about 20 cents per gallon.

Kemp’s order also prohibits price gouging by gas stations and motor fuel companies.
