What’s Happening: The holiday festivities kick off on Saturday, Nov. 30, at The Battery Atlanta with a tree lighting event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The tree will be lit at 7 p.m., followed by a free showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Smyrna will host its annual tree lighting in the Market Village from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Guests can enjoy the charm of this cozy holiday celebration.

Marietta’s Glover Park will take the spotlight on Thursday, Dec. 5, with its tree lighting ceremony. The evening begins with an ugly sweater parade at 4:45 p.m., Santa’s arrival at 5:15 p.m., and the official lighting at 6 p.m.

Kennesaw gets into the spirit on Saturday, Dec. 7, with a day of holiday fun, including a tree lighting and a day with Santa, from 1 to 6 p.m.

For a serene evening, head to East Cobb Park on Sunday, Dec. 8, for their Holiday Lights event from 5 to 9 p.m.

Finally, from Dec. 13 to Dec. 15, the Cobb Civic Center will host a Holiday Artisan Market featuring handmade goods, with a special Teen Market on Saturday, Dec. 14.
