🔍 The Details: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating an aggravated assault incident that unfolded at the Motel 6 at 105 Riverside Parkway. The event occurred shortly after 3 p.m. on Friday, stirring immediate action from local law enforcement.
Upon receiving the call at 3:05 p.m., deputies were quick to the scene, where they managed to secure a person of interest connected to the shooting. The investigation led to the discovery of two men, aged 25 and 40, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical teams rushed the victims to Atrium Health Navicent, where they are reportedly in stable condition.
🕵️ Ongoing Investigation: Investigators arrested 32-year-old Cody Aaron Stephenson in connection to the aggravated assault that occurred at Motel 6.
