Police seize stolen guns from Macon apartment complex

MACON -- Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested multiple people with stolen guns at the Majestic Gardens Apartments at 2650 Rocky Creek Road just after noon Monday.

MACON — Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested multiple people with stolen guns at the Majestic Gardens Apartments at 2650 Rocky Creek Road just after noon Monday.

Investigators received a tip that 18-year-old Rashid Khaud Ivey, of Macon, who had multiple warrants for Aggravated Assault, was in a residence at the Majestic Gardens Apartments. Investigators went to the apartment complex and located Ivey, along with multiple other people inside an apartment.

Investigators conducted a search warrant of the apartment Ivey was found in and located eight firearms, four of which were reported stolen out of Florida and Bibb County.

Investigators detained Ivey, as well as 23-year-old Sefon Dennard, 17-year-old Phaizon Jaquabian Pollard, and three juveniles.

Ivey was transported to the Bibb County jail and charged with four counts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property Felony, and two counts of Aggravated Assault. He is being held on a $16,200.00 bond.

Pollard was transported to the Bibb County jail and charged with four counts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property Felony, and eight counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Person Under 18-years-old. He is being held on a $39,800.00.

Dennard was transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with four counts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property Felony, and warrants for Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer for a Felony Offence, and Cruelty to Children in the Second Degree. He is being held on a $31,650.00 bond.

The three juveniles were taken to the Macon Regional Youth Development Center on charges four counts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property Felony, and eight counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Person Under 18-years-old.
