The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a man in front of a convenience store in Peachtree Corners over the weekend.
Officers were dispatched to a “person shot” call in front of 3330 Peachtree Corners Circle in Peachtree Corners. When they arrived, they found a man lying in the parking lot in between two parked cars with at least one gunshot wound.
Members of the Gwinnett County Fire Department responded and attempted to save the man’s life, but the victim died at the scene.
Detectives are working with the business to determine if their video cameras captured the crime or anything significant to this investigation.

According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, the victim was a black man in his 20s who was described as a frequent customer to the business.
The motive for the crime is still unknown but detectives are urging witnesses to call GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300.
