A man serving time at a Georgia prison is dead after being stabbed during a fight on Wednesday morning. His family has been notified of his death.

What’s Happening: The Macon County Coroner confirmed an inmate died following a fight inside Macon State Prison. The stabbing took place around 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Marquis Young, 37, died from stab wounds he received during the fight.

What’s Important: Officials have not said how many people were involved in the fight that led to the man’s death.
