The Gist: A white motorcycle, with no license plate, evaded a traffic stop on I-75, leading a Bibb County deputy on a high-speed chase before crashing off Bass Road.
The Details: While on patrol near Eisenhower Parkway, the deputy noticed the motorcycle. When the deputy signaled the driver to stop on I-75 northbound, the motorcyclist chose to flee. Sheriff’s officials say the rider swiftly exited on Arkwright Road, dangerously weaving in and out of oncoming traffic. The chase culminated off Bass Road when the rider crashed while trying to navigate a path.
By The Numbers:
- 1 motorcyclist with a suspended license
- 3 different police agencies with active warrants for the rider: Kennesaw, Monroe, and Bibb.
What’s Next?: The motorcyclist, whose license was already suspended, will now face additional charges stemming from this event, on top of the existing warrants from Kennesaw Police Department, Monroe County, and Bibb County.
