Georgia man wanted for shooting at an FBI agent turns himself in after manhunt

COLUMBUS — A man who was wanted for his involvement shooting at an FBI agent and who was the subject of a dayslong manhunt has turned himself in.

According to the FBI, Joshuia Johnathon Luke Brown is now in custody. 

He was wanted for his alleged involvement in the firing of multiple rounds at an FBI Agent in Columbus July 28.

According to agents, Brown turned himself in to the FBI at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in Columbus.

He reportedly felt pressure from the multiday manhunt, FBI officials said.

Agents say there is no indication he ever left Columbus between the incident date and Wednesday.
