RICHMOND HILL — Every Day Boater, owned by Hector Claudio, is an independent, local business based out of Richmond Hill. Claudio has lived in coastal Georgia for four years now and thoroughly enjoys the outdoors and boating.

He became frustrated with the sunglasses on the market because they were either cheaply made or did not perform to his expectations, all while remaining overpriced. This passion led him to source and launch Every Day Boater, which he says offers quality sunglasses at a rate 50% more affordable than the competition with a lifetime guarantee.

The product line is still in its early days but is growing quickly as the company is working to extend its range of styles of polarized high contrast glass lens sunglasses.

Every Day Boater is stocked locally at several marinas, including Fish Tales at Fort McAllister Marina in Richmond Hill, and is slated to appear at several outdoor events throughout the year. In addition, the brand offers a website which includes an online store.

The online catalogue offers the three styles of sunglasses currently available Reef Donkeys, Aviator Stingray, and Cuda as well as a range of headgear and a quality, affordable cable strap. All sunglasses are priced at $100.

“Boating is my passion and I know the difficulties of finding good quality, affordable sunglasses for when you’re on the water,” said Claudio. “That’s why I started EDB: to fill the gap in the sunglass industry. I am very excited to start my brand and bring my products to the greater Savannah region. I know people will really enjoy and value them as my friends and family do.”

According to Claudio, Every Day Boater’s return, warranty, and loss protection policies boast a transparent price structure of $20 to $50, depending on the repair. Lost sunglasses can be replaced at the price of a tier 3 warranty to save customers money with no hidden fees.
