Tropical Storm Nicole is moving West toward the Atlantic Coast this evening and will head across the Florida peninsula heading up South Georgia Thursday and Thursday night.

The storm track shows the storm will reach Hurricane force as it hits the Florida coast and will be a tropical depression while it is in Georgia. The storm is expected to reach Georgia by 7 a.m. Friday.

Residents of South and Coastal Georgia can expect high winds and flooding as the storm moves through.
