The body of a 44-year-old Georgia woman who was reported missing last month has been identified.
On Thursday, July 16, at about 9 a.m., the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was asked by the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a missing person investigation.
According to the GBI, a friend reported 44-year-old Renee Reagan missing on July 8. The friend advised she last spoke with Reagan on October 21, 2019. The last known address for Reagan was in Ellabell in Bryan County.
On July 20, a body was found in Effingham County. As a result of forensic testing by the GBI Crime Lab, the body has been identified as Renee Reagan. The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the death investigation.
