SAVANNAH — The Savannah Police Department needs the public’s help identifying a man they say robbed two gas stations while wearing a surgical mask last month.
According to police, on Friday, April 3, at about 6:10 a.m., the Shell gas station on the 14000 block of Abercorn Street was robbed by an unidentified man. On Monday, April 20 at about 4:10 a.m., the Enmarket gas station located on the 14000 block of Abercorn Street was robbed by the same unidentified man.
The robber is described as a black man in his 40s, nearly six feet tall, and weighing about 200 pounds. During one of the robberies he wore a yellow hoodie, a tan shirt over the hoodie, a mask and glasses.
