The Atlanta Braves have won The World Series.

The Braves won the championship 7-0 in Houston, ending a 26-year drought.

Congrats to the Braves. In 18 innings I attended, the best offense in baseball was held to zero runs. Still in disbelief. Yordan Alvarez needs to spend a few therapeutic months in the Maldives or something. Alex Bregman can join him. Carlos Correa is probably gone for good. Dang.

My grandfather was a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan. He passed away on Saturday. I haven't watched much baseball over the last decade myself but this is amazing. This championship would have made him very happy. I just wish he got to see it.
