Georgia families can look forward to a bright and festive Christmas Day with clear skies and mild temperatures perfect for outdoor celebrations. However, the night before Christmas may bring a chill, so residents should prepare for frosty conditions as Santa makes his rounds.

Christmas Day: Frost lingers until about 8 a.m., but by midday, the sun will warm things up, bringing temperatures to a pleasant high near 57 degrees. If Santa is bringing a bike, the weather looks favorable for an afternoon bike ride. A light east wind of 5 to 10 miles per hour—occasionally gusting to 15—will keep the air crisp but comfortable, ideal for enjoying a holiday stroll or playing with new toys outside.

Wednesday Night: Cloud cover will move in, bringing temperatures down to 39 degrees. Winds will stay light at around 5 miles per hour, offering a calm transition into midweek.
