A 14-year-old riding a dirt bike ran a red light and crashed into a school bus in Warner Robins early Tuesday morning, according to city officials. The teen suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
What Happened: Authorities say the school bus was traveling north on South Davis Drive with a green light when the dirt bike, heading west on Wall Street, ran a red light and crashed into it. The school bus had no passengers, only the driver. The teen suffered fractures to the face and extremities and was taken to Houston Health Care’s Watson Campus.
Between the Lines: Officials say the 14-year-old was carrying two guns at the time of the crash—a Glock Model 20 and a 10mm pistol with an extended magazine.
