The day of the parade celebrating the Atlanta Braves’ victory in the World Series will also be Atlanta Braves Day in Georgia.

Gov. Brian Kemp proclaimed Friday, November 5, 2021 as Atlanta Braves Day, encouraging all Georgians to join in celebrating the Atlanta Braves World Series Championship.

According to the proclamation, “The Braves inspired all of Georgia with their exuberant personality, perseverance, and passion, and will be remembered for generations as the team that brought a long-awaited championship to the Peach State despite seemingly insurmountable odds.”
