The Georgia Bulldogs 2023 season will come to a close this Saturday when the Bulldogs take on the undefeated Florida State Seminoles in the iconic Orange Bowl Game. This will be the first meeting between the two teams in more than 20 years and the Bulldogs’ first appearance in the Orange Bowl since their 2021 thrashing of the Michigan Wolverines.
Both teams are coming into this game off of a disappointing exclusion from the College Football Playoff. The Bulldogs were previously defeated by the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship, while Florida State’s exclusion was likely due to their loss of starting quarterback Jordan Travis.
Despite the disappointing exclusion, the Bulldogs are predicted to come out strong against the Noles, as they are currently three-score favorites over the ACC Champions.
