In Georgia, Australian shepherds and Bernese mountain dogs have tied as the favorite breeds among dog owners.

The Details: The survey, conducted by Forbes Advisor, reached out to 10,000 American dog owners to determine the most favored dog breeds across the country. In Georgia, the Australian shepherd and Bernese mountain dog emerged as the top picks, showcasing a preference for intelligent and loyal companions. Bulldogs and Golden retrievers also secured their spots as highly favored breeds in the state, rounding out the top three.

However, not all breeds share the same popularity. The Pembroke Welsh corgi is Georgia’s least favorite breed.
