Georgia Secretary of State Robyn Crittenden released the number of absentee and provisional ballots that were affected by two court orders requiring the state to recount provisional and absentee ballots that were thrown out due to voter identification issues.
The numbers were released just prior to the secretary of state’s office certifying the results of the 2018 midterm election which saw republican Brian Kemp narrowly defeat democrat Stacey Abrams in the race for governor.
According to the secretary of state’s office, a total of 93 absentee ballots and 67 provisional ballots were added to the total vote count. This means the number of ballots under dispute totaled just 160.
Here is the breakdown of new absentee and provisional ballots by county. Note: counties that did not have any additional ballots are not included.:

Crittenden was appointed secretary of state by Gov. Nathan Deal after former Secretary of State Brian Kemp resigned from the post to begin is transition to the Governor’s office last week.
