Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has canceled upcoming appearances and is self-quarantining after being exposed to the coronavirus.

According to the Governor’s office, Kemp was exposed to someone with the virus while touring storm damage over the weekend in Newnan. While the governor’s office said he did test negative for COVID-19 on Monday, he is following Georgia Department of Public Health guidelines and quarantining.

On Friday, Kemp received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which only requires one dose. He was exposed to the virus on Saturday.

This is Kemp’s second time self-quarantining during the pandemic. He was exposed to the virus in October as well.
