Savannah firefighters and members of the Wingman Motorcycle Club are gearing up for a heartfelt tradition Friday— a toy delivery run to Memorial Children’s Hospital.
What’s Happening: The Wingman Motorcycle Club, which includes several Savannah firefighters, organizes an annual toy run to collect toys and gift cards for local children. This year, they are teaming up with Savannah Fire Department personnel to bring holiday cheer to kids in need.
Who Made It Happen: Club members recently delivered their collections to Savannah Fire Station 3 for The Front Porch Savannah, a nonprofit benefiting local families.
Why It Matters: The event isn’t just about delivering toys—it’s about creating memorable moments for children who might not otherwise experience the joy of the season. For kids too sick to come outside, Savannah Fire will provide a ladder truck, allowing Santa to wave from hospital windows.
